Dervish shouldn't bring Mystic Regen anyway. I don't see the point of that skill other from farming. You said it yourself, you should deal damage, and leave healing to monks (or take Natural Healing)

Mystic Regeneration is not so much overpowered as it is annoying, there is only one build I can think of where this skill is overpowered and that is Aura of the Lich + Infuse condition + Mystic regeneration build, in all other build this skill is more of annoyance that an actual problem.

Mystic regen is not OP. The problem is other Regen skills are UP, so mystic looks over the top in comparison.
If anything, the other regen skills should be buffed to meet mystic's standard.

as I stated MONTHS ago..if MR is nerfed, all hex/degen needs to be nerfed.
and no, it doesn't even need be moved to mysticism. it is to useful(farming)to just kill it.
I can't believe that after all this time SOME(the thread Nec)people still think that 'OMGAWD MR is leik makin themm inVincibaal'
learn to shatter/strip enchantments, inflict conditions and hand out degen. that is where it's at.

Why not just use [wiki]Corrupt Enchantment[/wiki]? Saves you a good bit of casting.

Banishing strike FTW. Minions go buh bye MM is left with no DB and paper armor. Quick kill move on to the next target. I run a Banishing strike build in AB a lot just to kill MM's with a quickness.

I dont see MR is OP at all. Been AB quite a lot and never seen No/D or E/D can easily defeat enemy. Not sure about other types of PvP though

People who you can't kill only matter if they can also kill you while staying invincible. Fortunately, you can completely ignore most Mystic Regen tanks and it will never matter that they're not dead.

Are these earth tanks even used in high end pvp? I doubt it, derv secondary means no utility after all. I usually see them in AB, but I wouldn' t call it imba there. poor eles will get sliced up by all the lolsins running around that place without some decent self heal (It also works on non-tanking eles). In TA knowledgable people don' t even use eles so much, they usually don' t fit in teh builds there. Do they use obsi tanks to farm guild lords or something? hard to believe :P.
If eles piss you off in AB you need interrupts or enchant hate, and you will need those anyway so it's not the case that eles FORCE you to spec against them.

lol my rebuttal to this.
sure it has mystic in it's name, but why, then, does it make that crumbling earth sound when activated. I mean come on, it clearly was meant to be an earth prayer because of that. ;-p

Put a max on the number of enchantments it adds regen for. To make it really interesting, make that max scale with Mysticism.
0 Mysticism gives 3 enchantments for MR to supply regen on.
6 Mysticism gives 5 enchantments for MR to supply regen on.
12 Mysticism gives 6 enchantments for MR to suppy regen on.
16 Mysticism gives 9 enchantments for MR to supply regen on.
This would allow secondary classes to get +9 regen max (at 8 Earth Prayers), and allow primary Dervishes to get +36 (at 16 Mysticism and 13 Earth Prayers).
